I’m Marika, a speech therapist with a special interest in paediatric feeding and communication therapy. 

 

In 2025, I founded Early Expressions, a playgroup for children aged 12 months to 4 years with communication and developmental differences, including speech and language delays, sensory processing challenges, developmental delays, genetic syndromes, neurological conditions, autism and a range of developmental profiles.

 

Our focus is play-based learning, which creates opportunities for children to develop communication skills, explore sensory experiences and build skills through everyday play and interaction.
